February 2017 Market Update

These numbers don’t lie, folks!  It is a CRAZY seller’s market.  Cherokee County home values are going up dramatically.  That’s great for homeowners!  But it is so hard to help a first time buyer find a house when there are 20 offers on it in two days going over the asking price.

Average time to sell is 45 days, start to finish.  Prices are up 12% since February of last year county-wide.   Homes in the entry level price point (less than $200,000) typically sell in 30 days.  Homes between $200-500k sell in about 60 days.

The average sales price is now $260,485.  Last year it was only $229,280.  That’s a huge jump.  The typical home in Cherokee County sells for 99% of the asking price when priced at fair market value to begin with.

WE NEED MORE HOMES FOR THESE BUYERS.  Have you thought of selling?  You owe it to yourself to find out exactly how much you could make if you were to sell now.  Click here to watch a short video on what our market is doing now.
