Independence Day is right around the corner and I thought I’d do a roundup of local places to go see the fireworks, so you don’t have to sit in the Home Depot parking lot like we did last year.  Sadly, I’m not joking.  We were driving along highway 92 in Woodstock looking for the location, couldn’t find it, pulled over into the HD parking lot (along with 200 other people, I might add!) and opened the hatch of the minivan.  Boom, built in place to sit and shelter from the rain that started about 10 minutes into the show.  But as far as ambience?  Eh…. not so much.

Here is a list of places I found by scouring the internet this rainy afternoon.

Fourth of July Fireworks – 2016

Acworth

Canton Fireworks – Canton Parade

Kennesaw – NOTE: Kennesaw’s fireworks are on Sunday, July 3rd.

Woodstock

Ball Ground – NOTE: Ball Ground’s fireworks are on Saturday, July 2nd.

Roswell

Alpharetta – There are several going on in Alpharetta so pick your favorite

Marietta

So there you have it –  a ton of different places to go see some fireworks this year.  Stay safe and have fun!
