Today we’re taking a tour of Keystone homes in Guyton, Georgia and we are starting right now. Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog. I’m Karin Carr, a Realtor in Savannah Georgia with Keller Williams.
Today I have the pleasure of interviewing Judy Curley, who is an on-site sales consultant for Keystone Homes in Summer Station in Guyton, Georgia. So let’s go take a tour of this fabulous community. I’m Judy Curley with Robin Lance Realty and I’m the on-site representative for Keystone Homes here in South Effingham Guyton, Georgia. Keystone Homes is a large family-oriented but local builder and has been building in Augusta for nearly three decades and came to our Savannah market in Effingham County about three and a half years ago.
Keystone Homes has received many awards locally and has been recognized nationally by the National Association of Home Builders. Summer station is a one cul-de-sac community with a total of 49 home sites. It’s a quaint community with large home sites and we have some move-in-ready homes, homes that will be ready in early September, and many home sites available. So you have an opportunity to pick a floor plan and build now. Our plans start with a one-story home and we have two-story homes going up to up to six bedrooms. Some of our features include a side entry garage, we have stone on the front, granite, and lovely details throughout the home.
Summer station is conveniently located to highway 21 and I-95. It’s a short ride to Gulfstream, Hunter airfield ,with the airport, and locally there are many businesses shops and restaurants that you can visit. Or you can go into Pooler for shopping and then head down to downtown Savannah. And the school system is South Effingham elementary, middle school, and high school. Builders all kind of do the same thing but they do it differently and I really enjoy pointing out things that perhaps other builders may use as an upgrade. Again the sod and irrigation in both front and back yard, that’s wonderful, as well as a garage door opener. You have elongated toilets.
We also, and this is huge, have 9-foot ceilings both on the first and second floor and that’s that just makes you know your 18-foot entryway so gorgeous. We also do things like the LBT flooring throughout the main living areas so there’s not a whole lot you need to upgrade since you’re getting so much in your included features but we do have some nice options in case you would like to map some other details so some of the nice included features your dining room judges paneling we do the double crown molding throughout the first floor main living areas granite in the kitchen and Tyler stone backsplash you do get the 42 inch higher cabinets and staggered beautiful and all your oil or bronze fixtures Canon pendant lighting as well as throughout the home.
I’d like to say LBT people sometimes ask what it is before I can save a luxury vinyl tile it’s a wonderful product and it is actually glued down concrete slabs here it would be glued down on a subfloor upstairs as well very durable beautiful colors and we have decided that the main living areas on the first floor people are really wanting that more than a carpet in the family room so that is a wonderful durable product that comes in a lot of different colors should you choose to build a home you may make those selections we have floor plans starting in the low to hundreds one-story plans four bedrooms same beautiful features.
Our two-story plans go up to over three thousand square foot and up to six bedrooms starting in the two 40s up to the 260 range and as well with new construction the value warranty for up to 10 years structural two years your system and one year of builders workmanship as well as the Builder will contribute four thousand and closing costs here in summer station to the buyer side of the closing costs so when you’re ready call Karin and she’ll come and see me here at the model home and will show you all about the community of summer station summer station welcome to a place worth pulling your own.
